Q: Are you accepting new patients?

We are always happy to accept new patients into our family of patients.

Q: Do you see children?

We love children of all ages. About 1/3 of our patents are under age of 18 years old.

Q: When should I take my child to the dentist?

Normally you can take your child to a dentist at 3 years old. However, if your child has any problems such as staining of the teeth, crowding or abnormal tooth development, or if your child has any risk factors for developing cavities, then he/she should see a dentist earlier.

Q: Do you offer emergency care?

Yes! we place special priority with all emergency needs. Should a dental emergency arise, call the office at (925) 426-0288 and we will make every effort to attend to your need quickly.

Q: Do you offer flexible appointments?

Yes, in addition to regular office hours. We also offer early and late appointments.

Q: How do I change or cancel an appointment?

We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please give us 24 hours notice in advance. This courtesy on your part makes it possible for us to give your appointment to another patient.

Q: Do you offer payment plan?

Yes, in the event the dental work needed is extensive we are certainly happy to discuss individually tailored financial arrangements. Please ask our Financial Coordinator for more detail.

Q: What insurance plans do you accept?

We do accept most insurance plans including Delta Dental, Blue Shield, and Blue Cross. In addition, we do accept “in-network” and “out-of-network” patients.

Q: Do you offer senior discount?

Yes, we value our senior patients contribution to our community. Senior citizens, age 60 and over, will receive a 5% credit toward their payment.

Q: What type of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards. For certain treatments, financial plans are available. Discuss the one that best suit your needs with our Financial Coordinator prior to your treatment.

Q: How much will my insurance cover?

This is an excellent question. Even though our fees are consistent, it is difficult to know exactly what your dental benefits will be. Each dental insurance plan is a negotiated contract between the insurance company and the employer. As a result, no two insurance plans are the same. The level of coverage is ultimately determined by the policy the employer selected. Some companies base their reimbursements on the actual fee charged while others base their reimbursement on a table determined by the employer. Most patients feel their dental health is important enough to proceed with treatment regardless of the benefit they will receive from their insurance company. These same patients have found that by addressing their dental need in a timely fashion they actually save money by avoiding more costly treatment resulting from neglect. For those patients facing extensive dental rehabilitation with limited financial resources we recommend a financial consultation with our administrative coordinator.
